Test Facility

Boedecker's test facility is fully equipped to test a powder's characteristics for conveying, processing and packaging concerns. Testing provides engineers with information that can minimize up-front design costs, speed production, improve product quality and much more.

Staff provides hands on experience with a variety of materials in chemical,  food and pharmaceutical industries. This depth of experience is a critical element in providing a proven track record for meeting performance specifications, space requirements, delivery schedules and more.

Various equipment is used to determine material's handling and screening properties - including angle of repose particle size distribution, particle shape and bulk density. Facility has a centrifugal sifter unit for sifting powders and granular materials, especially those that are likely to blind conventional screens. Equipment accepts screens with openings from 4 to 400 mesh.

Consultation and testing in initial stages of a project allows customer to research design parameters and various processing methods. Ultimately, it helps assure that each component contributes to the quality, performance and cost efficiency of the entire system.
